does anyone have these coilovers with a 700 lb spring for extra weight in the front? Or these with their 600lb spring with bumper and winch in front? They told me they’re not designed for the 700lb spring and I don’t want it to sag/ not handle well

Get fox then if they don’t want you to have a 700lb spring. Mine rides great tons of room for adjustments

I didn’t even really consider fox. I’m sure some people are running these with extra weight

I just installed mine yesterday with the 700lb springs. So far the ride is great but I'm only getting 2" of lift on driver side and 2.5" on passenger side with max preload. I have a call into icon to see what's going on cause sdhq said I should be getting quite a bit more lift than what I'm getting.

Doesn't fox have issues with rusting?

I ran 700lb springs that were 2" longer just fine on the same coilovers. I had a bumper and winch on that setup. I went with the length so I wouldn't have pre-load.

Go for the 700lb spring if you are adding weight.
    Get extended bumpstops too.

I could be wrong, but Recently Eibach had issues with their coils, which is probably why you’re not getting the lift expected with the 16/700lb coils on the icons.
There is a thread here on this forum somewhere about it.
