dont bother with the website obdii365. They tell you its a free download, but they wont send you the activation unless you buy something.

I have a USB OBDII cable and am trying to find a copy of Techstream that I can use. Everything I find I either have to buy or says its a virus. I have the V14.001.008 installed but I can't get past this screen. Help?

Try Carista instead? Many options, especially the BS seatbelt reminder can be changed with it.

I had to re-install Techstream on my Win10 laptop. What a pain in the ass. Required having to utilize "legacy device" in device manager before it worked.

Ebay. I also think it is the first version that works right with Windows 10.

Got 14.10.028 running. The mini vci cable is version 1.4.1. Seems like some options are missing, do I need a cable with v2.0.4 to get all options like key programming? Thanks

Have no clue. But I did notice I didn't have all of the same options as videos on YouTube. Mainly ability to enable passive security system. They might have changed that for 2019.

Are you using the program on a windows with 64 bit or a 32 bit operating system? I'm looking for the same thing.

What all have others truly been able to do with it once software is loaded on pc and connected to the vehicle? Some mentioned disable seat belt alarm others also mentioned changing the signals (how many times it flashes or blinks) and there other settings but really limited per what can actually be done per ECM.

    I’ve got TS 14.20

I’ve used it to update a bunch of Tacoma ECUs but you can also do all the vehicle customizations (beepers, alerts, lights, etc)

It's got some neat diagnostic features.

It can do a simulated compression test by using the starter to turn over the engine.

It can start the engine from the laptop. There are other things available when you use it as scanner. Using it for diagnostics is it's actual design. The be customization is really just the frosting on the cake.

I have a purple Mongoose cable and I lost my techstream CD that came with it. I purchased a copy of tech stream software v13 from OBDinovations but am unable to get it to work (Unable to acquire the data list). Does someone have the CD that came with the purple mongoose cable that can send me the files.

    Thanks,
