17 TRD Pro wheels and tires

Guy is asking $1500 for these. Do these look legit? What questions would you be asking before purchase? What’s a fair purchase price? It would be a 4 hour drive for me to pick up.
He says they were off a 2017 TRD pro with only 100 miles on it.

 

I think that's pretty high. And the TPMS are pulled, so you'd need to swap/buy new for that. You can find TRD Off Road take-offs from 2018 and 2019s and have them powdercoated for half that price.

 

A bit high. I just picked up 19 Pro wheels and tires with about 1000 miles for a little less than that.

 

Agreed. Too high. I paid $1000 for mine before the 2019s existed.

 

Pretty sure I saw them new for 345.00 each a couple weeks ago.

 

You can find them cheaper but it’s all in how much do you want them. I just found some 19’ PRO wheels with tires that had 500 miles for 1500 bucks which was a steal in my opinion. Then I sold my SR5 TRD wheels and tires for 600 bucks.

 

I would meet you as far as Marion Illinois for my set, mounted balanced and better tires.

What is everyone’s preferred year of TRD wheels?

 

I prefer the 19s. Lighter and look different than just powdercoating my standard TRD wheels.

Now that i bought the 19 trd pro wheels I need to sell my trd wheels.

 

I may need to be on the lookout for those then. I honestly didn’t realize there was a difference. This is all new to me.

I like the ones you're looking at, and I'll probably get my TRD Off Roads powder coated to match them someday... but I REALLY like the way the 19s look. They're just hard to come by right now and pretty expensive because of it. If you have ~$1500 budgeted for wheels, though, you can probably find a set if you're patient.

 

I'm in Memphis (Bartlett, actually) and have been considering selling my '17 TRD Pro wheels. Wheels only, no sensors or tires, can let you know if you are interested.

 

Thanks! I’ll holler at you if I go that route. It sounds like the 19’s may be what I’ll zero in on first. Patience is not my best virtue but I’ll have to work on it.
