After 6 months of running a Four Wheel Camper on my Toyota Tundra, it's time for more organized storage. I ran a Goose Gear system in my FJ Cruiser and was very happy. I decided to reach out to them to see if they had an interest in developing a system for the Toyota Tundra CrewMax (07-13).

While chatting with Goose Gear, Brian determined it would be best to offer 3 options for customers. A 40% delete, 60% delete, or the option to delete all 100%. This allows you to run a drawer on the passenger side, driver side, or a drawer on both sides.

He took some measurements and did his magic on the computer. It was impressive to see the computer design come to life on the CNC machine:

A few pics of the prototypes:

Production models will be coated in bullet liner and the access cubbies will be fully assembled with latches.

I plan to delete the entire back seat and run 2-22" wide drawers (one on each side). This will allow me to store my jumper cables, tools, bike gear, and more. The dog will have a bed on top of the drawer so he can be comfortable on our adventures.

I'll post more pictures as progress is made on the seat delete and drawers. At this time, I don't have any clue when GG will release production models. They are just starting this project :)

Id be interested in knowing the height off of the door sill and then the distance to the window if that make sense

I can get some rough measurements for you. It might change very slightly once the mounting system is finalized.

Do they know that the 60% delete measurements will be different on SR5's? Not sure if they would even bother to offer 2 sizes though, the Platinum measurements will be smaller due to the sub box, but it would still fit in the non JBL trucks too.
Can't wait to see it in your truck.

They will most likely offer a non-JBL floor plate option for those with models that don't have the sub. It might take a little bit longer since they'd need a truck for R&D

This week I'll post some more details. Back seats are in for photos but I'll be removing them soon since we plan to make more progress Tuesday

Send me a photo or two of the non-sub equipped panel behind the back seat. I'm curious how different the panel is. I have a good feeling they will offer options for both (w/ and w/o sub)

2014-2019 will require a different plate system since the seat mounting is different. It’s not in the plans as of now but that could change

Very cool. I've been thinking about making something like this myself with a trap door for the ESP storage box that I already have in place.

Not sure what the seat delete will weigh once coated and assembled. I'll try to post a final weight

    I do know it'll weigh less than the factory seats... those buggers are heavy (145.7lbs | 40% = 53.8lbs, 60% = 91.9lbs) :eek2:

Yes it is. I have been east of there in Chelan, and north of that in Pateros and Omak, but havent done much west of that. Like to do more exploring there and on the Olympic peninsula as well.

Looks great. Could you measure the distance across the entire platform? Curious if my bikes would fit (front wheel off) like this....Thanks!

Any way to get a lid made where you could cut out foam like the rear storage units sold do? Just to the point where the stock seat mounts are not compromised so you can go back if required

Im glad to see others pioneering this! I have kids for a few more years but Im already planning a delete. I'm thinking of taking the back seats out and going down to metal even on the floor to take advantage of all the height I can get.
