I recently bought a used Tundra and the history of the Tundra suggests it was a Missouri vehicle. Does anyone know if Missouri is one of the states that dumps salt on the roads in order to melt ice during the winter? I know many states back East use salt to de-ice their roads, I also know other states do not have a zero ice policy and use mainly sand on the roads. Does anyone know which policy Missouri uses. From what little research I've done, it appears Missouri uses salt as a de-icer? Thanks for your help.

STL area and yup they use salt up here, during the winter I try to get my truck through the car wash every weekend with the underwash if the temp cooperates.

Thanks guys, after a bit more history on my vehicle, appears most of it's life was in Joplin, not sure about salt issues in this area, gonna assume it's not a problem for automobiles? Thanks again

They don't dump a ton of salt in Southern MO. You won't have any issues.
