Does anyone know about RTSP / DNS settings ? (For DVR Cameras)

I am stumped on this, I have a DVR camera system that works fine, the "app" works.

So does VLC or any other RTSP player.

But if I connect from the internet, mobile, ONLY the WAN IP works. The DNS from noip.com will not work. (DNS "name" is linked to "real IP")...

Example.,

rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/whatever works,
but rtsp://myname.com/whatever will not play rtsp.

It resolves fine, and works on http, gives a good IP ...
NOIP said nothing is wrong with their end.

Huh ?

Anyone know ?
