My coilovers are hitting my sway bar "part" (I don't know the part name). One side actually rests on it. The other side is barely off the sway bar part. Is this a problem? Any suggestions to fix besides removing the front sway bar?

Did you just install the coilovers? If so, has the alignment been done? I don't think they should be that close to the point of rubbing. I believe @V-TRAIN had this issue too, but not sure what type of coilovers he was running. I think he ground a little off the sway bar link to clear if I remember correctly.

I installed them a couple months ago. Had the alignment done at toytec which resulted in phenomenal numbers.

    Get rid of it.

Are the misalignment spacers installed correctly at the lca shock mount?

Seems odd to me that fox would design something that can’t work with stock components. Shitty if you ask me. I don’t want something that makes me lose something else. I understand sometimes you have to upgrade other stuff as well but upgrading the sway in this situation will still create the same problem

Ive seen this with fox in the past. The crappy thing is that if your alignment guy tries to shift the lca back to clear sway bar, that puts the tire closer to the body mount.

Most people run without the sway bar i would guess.

I just went to go look at my bar with icons. I have inches of clearance. How high are your coilovers

How Much lift? I’ve only seen issues with them hitting tie rods.

I have about a finger worth of space between my end link and bottom of the shock. Could be an alignment thing. How much room do you have when you turn your wheels from the cab mount?

The spacers must've been installed with the readylift kit by Toyota. Maybe I should take em off. When I watched the BDS install, they did not put away spacers on.

Interesting. Putting Fox coilovers on next month at some point. Wonder if I will have any issue with the TRD sway bar.

Probably isn’t a huge issue. But ya maybe take them off see what happens. And if not I’m gonna say it’s an alignment thing. If nothing else is broken or damaged. Check the ball joints and cv all that stuff to cancel them out. Do you have your alignment numbers handy?

If you take that swaybar spacer out it looks like it should shift the end links away from the coilovers.

@Toytec Lifts you guys do alignment? o_O

I would just make sure you do not install any sway bar spacer and you should be good. These spacers do not come with the coilovers.

    take the spacers out.

my issue was the sway bar itself. the square part was touching the coilover. I grinded it down like the TRD sport sway bar and no issues since then.

I got the spacers out (which are kinda heavy. Probs gonna get back 1.5 mpg and ten horsepower :burnrubber:). I now have a full finger width on the passenger side and probably half finger width on driver side. Thanks again for all the help.
