Add front bumper to obstacles that Cooper STT Pros can handle.

I was driving through a parking lot, in a lane, when this guy decided driving in the lane was optional. Idiot. I hate people that cut across parking lots.

Anyway, not a scratch on the truck. You can see in the pics that he hit my tire, and well, his car didn't fare so well.

If the car hit your rim (from the picture its looks like it is not a steel rim), I would recommend that you replace the rim due to impact stress that you might not see.

Good call. I need to check into that. I examined underneath, and no visible damage to suspension, steps, etc. The truck rode fine back to the office, so it doesn't seem to have affected the balance of the tire, but I did think about unseen damage to the rim.

The cops were amazed there was no damage to the truck. They were looking at the tires and wheels, all over...meanwhile, I was rolling my windows down in case they decided to ticket my tint. LOL

Yeah, that tire doesn't look useable anymore, it's got red paint all over it. ;) Time to get a new wheel and tire and use that one for a full size spare. :p

Might as well let his insurance pay for you a new rim/tire.

    Glad your truck wasnt damaged!

Before talking with the insurance company I would ask the driver of the car to see if they are willing to pay for the rim and wheel out of their pocket.
I would not worry about the expense of having the rim and tire mounted.
