    Hi Guys and Girls,

Just bought a 2008 Tundra Doublecab 4x4 5.7L TRD off road in silver, flew out to buy it, and drove 1050Km home all in 25 hour span yesterday.

This replaces the trusty 2006 Tacoma Doublecab 4x4 I had for 6.5 years, until it got wiped out by an inattentive driver turning immediately in front of me on the highway.

I'll miss that truck for a long while, but I'm in love with this tundra and as a diehard manual transmission guy I can't believe I'm saying this, I love the 6spd auto in this thing too.

I'll post a pic once I have a chance to wash the salt and road grime off it

I've noticed a few familiar names from Tacomaworld here, man, I guess I've graduated from there now too. :)

Well, I washed it yesterday. Didn't get a chance to snap any pics while it was clean, as I was supposed to meet up with my brother for some hunting this afternoon, so what the heck, why not a couple pics with a bit o' mud on 'er. Out in the real world, where the men are men, and the trucks are Toyotas. :)

As for plans for the Tundra - nothing too big - Weathertech liners and a set of Duratracs first off - before the white stuff hits. Maybe front OME lift coils, ride-rite airbags, and I'll look into building a hidden winch mount for it like I did for the Tacoma. And a boat / ladder rack - probably aluminum.
