Mirror upgrade

I have a question about aftermarket mirrors if anyone can help me. I want to replace the factory mirrors with tow mirrors. My factory mirrors are power and heated with no turn signal or blind spot detection feature. My question is... How much trouble would it be to add the turn signal feature?

 

My tow mirrors came from the dealership. This after I had another truck take my stock mirror off on the passenger side. The dealership did tell me that I will lose my blind spot. But my heated mirrors still wor

 

What about turn signal ? My current mirrors don't have them. But I'm wondering if it's much trouble to add the turn signal feature to a truck that didn't originally have it.

 

You dont need to do anything to add the turn signal feature. You get that as an additional feature when you switch to OEM or Trail Ridge tow mirrors. Plug and play.

 

Oh sorry yes mine has LED on them. It came with them

 

I lost the blind spot. Love the mirrors!!

 

1A Auto Trail Ridges will allow you to retain BSM.

They also have a non BSM version. Which is what I have.

I glad I didn’t get the Blind spot on my mirrors. When I pulled something it kept going off.

Does it matter which version, if you do not already have BSM? I have a Pro and like the smoked lens over the amber lens. The smoked lens has BSM and the amber lens does not. Would the version including the BSM work fine? Or... am i missing something?

 

I want to know the answer also... if I don’t have BSM on my truck and use tow mirrors with BSM is it going to throw everything for a loop

 

I have not purchased any yet. So I still have no answer to share.

 

I’m wondering if the wire on the mirrors harness that controls BSM can just be clipped
