Or you can buy a PAC TR12 for $40 off Amazon and program it to do it like I have on both my trucks

    Not nearly enough room here!
Now, THAT'S interesting, being as I couldn't get Harmon customs unit to work on my 2010. Ray was professional and accepted it back but that still leaves my "De-Nannification" issue unsolved. What's involved in programing the PAC TR12 to disable Trac-Control?

I've got one and it's great on dirt because I always turn everything off. Only downside is, it'll display "traction control disabled" on your dash and stays on permanently. So on pavement, I have to press the button once to clear it. I'll be putting mine on a switch soon to remedy that.

Super easy so I have them on my Sequoia and my Tundra. In the case of my Supercharged Sequoia w/HP Tune I like running it in tow haul mode with traction control off. On my Tundra it has the OVTune so I do not have the PAC turn on my tow haul mode but I do have it turn my nannies off. The PAC has different ports so my tow haul is wired to port 1 and my traction control is wire to port 2. Then you just plug the unit in to you lap top and program what you want it to do at ignition, you can program to the 1,000 of a second. So on my Sequoia I have port one programmed to have 3/10 of a second delay at ignition than press tow haul for 1/10 of a second and release. For port 2 I have a 3/10 delay at ignition press and hold for around 3/10 release for 1/10 and press and hold for 3/10 or something like that. We messed around for it to get it to do the sequence in the shortest duration and always be reliable. You do have to program a delay in at the beginning because the truck is just starting up so it takes a half second or so before the truck can take commands. The PAC unit stays under the dash and you can program it at anytime by just hooking it to your lap top. My Sequoia actually has a permanent wire going to a USB in the dash so I easy access and can program it really easy or turn it off when it's on the Dyno. The good thing is you can always turn the nannies on or tow haul off just by simply pressing the button.

Thats awesome. So it’s basically pushing the tow haul and traction control buttons for you, as quickly as possible, every time you turn on ur rig. For $40? Thats sweet
