Dude... Trust me, I've ridden Aliso/Laguna in the summer hundreds of times and unless you hit the trail by 6:30/7am, its gonna get hot as BALLZ. All rides have to be completed by 10am at the latest.

Btw, sorry to hear about your clavicle. I remember about 10 yrs ago we were up at Mammoth hitting some doubles right below the lift (just before mid-station). First guy (one of those Bender types that has good jump skills) goes into it, bucks and comes down on his shoulder. Collar bone is toast... He yells up something about the jump being all outa wack. 2nd guy yells down, "What's that? You all right?" as he drops in... Hits the jump, gets bucked and lands on his shoulder. ANOTHER broken collar bone and a few ribs. Mountain patrol comes, brings them both down and I have to drive their asses to Mammoth ER. And of course one of them has no insurance. Needless to say, they were all jacked up on beer and vicodin that night around the camp fire.

This is the guy that went down first:

Is the Cinder Hills OHV area, N of Flagstaff?

If so, We RV'd there last spring. Super cool place I'd like to go back to. I actually tried to drive our RV out in it (on what I thought was hard packed) to get away from all the other RV'ers and nearly got stuck. Hammered down and took a HUGE turn to get out. Eventually found a spot without too many other RV'ers, but then the wind picked up and made it miserable to be outside.

Might have to plan on this event next year. Does this occur about the same time each yr?

How Capable would a stock RW be on those trails?

Hey! Yeah we aim for roughly the same time every year. Our base camp is close to Sedona, but we go up to the Cinders for Go Fast Friday.

A stock RW could run all the trails with the possible exception of Smiley Rock. This assumes you haven’t added any side steps that hang down. Or if you did add some, that they are actually sliders connected to the frame and can support the weight of the vehicle.

If you’re in Kansas City, I know @Rheywood456 is usually looking for someone to wheel with out there.

Sweet! Yep, previous owner put chrome step bars on it but powder coated black ones are on the short list for future upgrades. I'll have to either keep " Sliders" in-mind.
Wife and I loved our SW trip last spring but it was in an RV and couldn't go "off" the beaten path like I'm used too w/ ATVs. Offroading w/ trucks would be a new thing for me.

@KevinK , I'm not seeing any photo updates on the T2S website. If I'm not on IG or FB, how can I see the "official" (i.e., best) group shots?

Yeah, we’re still working out the details, but extending it to a week means more people can get on the trails they want without them being fully booked already. Since we only allow 8 trucks at a time on the Sedona trails, they fill up quickly.

No one has to stay the entire week, but it’s available for those who want. We’ve had people show up earlier and earlier each year. This year people were up there Monday night.

We'll be starting a new T2S 2020 thread with an announcement here pretty soon, but all the 2019 folks get the heads up first. ;)

I'm not sure how far south in "Southern Ontario" @Krezz is, but it damn near looks like he and I could carpool from around Dayton, Ohio... Even better, we'd be a caravan of Kevins. :bananadance:

We went a few years ago with a rented travel trailer. Had a lot of fun, I even won some lights in the raffle. Haven't gone the last couple of times, but now that we own our own trailer I'm thinking of going this year
