So when my bumper was removed for Line-X, it was given to the shop in separate pieces. They put the step pads on before they sprayed it, so it had to be cut before it could be reinstalled. Now you can see some chrome. What would you guys do for a "blend" or repair. The shop looked lost when I asked them about it.

Ask them for some Line-X and fill the chrome area with a toothpick.

Was that crack there on the right side?

They need to make this right!

Maybe you should call Line-X directly and complain that this shop is doing bad work.

That's not acceptable. They should've sprayed the parts separately.

Yeah that's not acceptable. Is that a crack also? Right hand side.

That's pretty crappy job, hate to sound like a dick but it doesn't look good at all. I'd definitely go back and make them redo that or get a refund and find someone who will do it right. That's gonna peel, rust, and look even worse in a few months.

Second pic I think they have no pride to let something leave that way. They should have sprayed the parts separately and wouldn't have a problem now. Leaving them together is an opening for chrome to peak through the gap. The bubble and crack says they didn't prep it. That all needs to be taken apart, sanded off and repainted proper.

Can you both tell me how much it costs for front and back bumpers? I was quoted at $600 for Rhino liner here in the Twin Cities. I thought that was too expensive. I can buy two new rock warrior bumpers for not much more than that. Thanks. D

They didn't prep the chrome correctly, it needed to be roughed up for the Line-X to adhere. That's a respray for sure, they will have to strip it all off and re-shoot it. You're in Florida, Tampa Bay by the looks of the plate I'm in the Tampa Bay area as well shoot me a PM where you had it done I do some work for a shop that sprays Line-X and may be able to help. I had mine encapsulated (sprayed inside and out) because I mounted the pods through the bumper.

So i finally got it repaired yesterday. They completely stripped and resprayed it at their cost. Good to go now. I had the flares done as well.
