DUDE! Stock, you can't even see that boat or the trash cans!!!!

I kid of course, but I do hate being blinded by on coming traffic, so respect both sides of this conversation. Hoping we find a happy solution to stock crappy lights!

Trust me I hate being blinded too. I made sure to research these LEDs. I certainly don't want to be the one blinding folks.

And I think my post was respectful of the other side.

I've heard many reports for those specific philips ultinon leds being decent for drop in bulbs. But personally, for the price I'd rather just retrofit and have proper hid placement.

    Thanks for the pics

Wish I knew how to retrofit because that would certainly make it budget friendlier. The LEDs were $200 delivered (sale, free shipping, etc..). Couldn't retro 1 headlight for that. So that's why I went with them. And was able to add morimoto fogs.

    Seriously considering the 2018's though.

Do a retrofit. Then you can have a pretty cutoff like this 20170326_202726.jpg

You can retrofit the pair for $270 with the morimoto kit from TRD. They also have 25% coupons during the holidays.

I know way old post... but I’ve had my 2019 Tundra for about a week and never found this until now! I didn’t know there was such an in-cab adjustment. I thought this dial was for the dash or interior lights... lmao.

Thanks a ton for posting, my dial was set to 4 from the dealer. Setting to zero fixed it right up (before, my low beams were aimed about 10 feet in front.

I tried the little adjustment screw on the back of the headlight housing - but to be honest I never knew you could adjust headlight angle from the cab in any truck. I’ve driven Chevys and Fords my entire life and didn’t even know it was a feature so didn’t bother to read the manual. I guess I’m never too old to learn to RTFM!

The best upgrade I know of and actually use is The Brite Box from Aspire Auto Accessories. It allows you to keep low beams on with your high beams. They have a model where it keeps your fog lights on as well. In some years (depending on your bulbs), you can add their Bulbzilla kit which allows you to upgrade you bulbs to ones that produce more output. I highly recommend them for an easy and affordable upgrade that you can use with your stock headlights.

Ok so a member says no LED or HID in reflector housing. But now days many companies have realized this does not work that is why many companies have replicated the HID and LED bulbs to actually mimic a halogen. Is it 100% probably not but pretty close. So if you are on a budget then I say do it but at least find a manufacture that has the best HID or LED bulb that mimics the halogen as good as possible. I full housing replacement is the best choice as Mototundra expressed and I agree with him. But the choice is yours and you should not let anyone influence you otherwise just don't get bulbs over 5000k and you should be fine.
