Just outside Hartford CT. It switched back over to rain after about 2 inches, and then its going to be back up to around 60 this weekend so it won't stick around. I'm hoping for a mild winter this year, last year mother nature played nice, but for the 2012,13, and 14 winters we got the piss knocked out of us. We were getting 12"+ every 2-3 days all winter long and some storms were dropping over 36"

That was last year. We've only had flurries at lake level so far. The summits have some snow...actually snowing now.

WTF? It's snowing somewhere? 74F on Saturday forecast. Love me some global warming, except for the ice caps melting, my house being underwater...

Wife said stop in the snow so she could take a picture, wish she would have listened when I said that driving on 7foot of fresh powder wouldn't end nicely. IMG_1793.jpg

^ that just looks like it would suck to wake up to in the morning. I park in my garage now...I definitely would if I lived up there.

Pardon my ignorance as this is the furthest north I have ever lived, and I'm 90 miles SOUTH of Atlanta, Ga. LOL But, I have a question for all you guys up north...what do you do, wake up earlier in the morning so you have time to shovel the driveway and shit before going to work?

I can't fit the Tundra in my garage. I have a 2 car garage but I have 3 active kids. All of their stuff goes in the garage along with my Durango. The Tundra has to brave the snow. It took me about 1 hour to clear the driveway today with my snowblower. However, we don't always get this much snow overnight. We get constant, steady snow of several inches a day during the winter. Since 7pm last night, we've gotten about 20 inches here. 30miles north of where I live, they received over 30 inches since yesterday.

Call me weird, but I love waking up to a good dump of snow. In the mornings, I brush the snow off my truck and go. If my wife hasn't shoveled the driveway by the time I get home from work ;), I do it then. I've got a flat, short driveway in a subdivision, and don't get a ton of snow here anyway so no big deal most of the time. We did get 32 inches in 36hours two years ago, was sick of shovelling by the end of it. Pulled a few vehicles out with my Tacoma at the time, including a Dodge Cummins 4x4 :)

This must be relevant as it's my Tundra's home now:100_1204_zps27a8306e_469e95943e7b637ea3c3ae7c6239d4588bde534d.jpg
