Far to many severe storms and tornadoes in the last few days, with yesterday afternoon thru the night being the worse by far. I have been reading reports of lots of damage esp in Jefferson MO. Several towns in OK have been hit, the town of webbers falls has been evacuated as of last night due to two barges that broke loose on the Arkansas river and were heading towards the dam/locks above webbers falls. Most likely they will run aground before they reach the dam but officials are preparing for the worse.
Major flooding in Tulsa and elsewhere.

I hope all members and their families are safe.

Might be yet another round of storms today, I have been lucky since Monday and have only had heavy rain, closest I came to seeing tornadoes was yesterday about 30 miles in two directions west/north.

    Been one crazy week indeed.

We live in Springfield, MO and had tornados near us but not in town this time. Last night's report had 3 dead near Golden City, MO but the storms weren't done yet and were headed towards our capital Jefferson City. My best to all.

Heading up there right now for a weekend family reunion at Table Rock Lake, Indian Point area. Spreading ashes of an uncle who died last fall. WWII vet. Some are having trouble getting a flight into Springfield, but it's supposed to clear up today. We're driving up from Dallas. No need to cross the Arkansas River which is flooding West of Muskogee. This is pretty standard May weather for that area, but hope everyone stays safe.

A coworker is on vacation with his wife in MO for 2 weeks. He's from OK so sort of used to this if possible.

Never seen a tornado in my life here in Kansas. My city has whats called a big ditch that prevents the city from flooding. Its about half full and heading your way.

The barges have made contact with the locks at Webber’s falls.
    They both have sunk.
I40 remains closed at that location
