Just pull those tundra badges off. I think it looks so much better without them. Plus makes it easy to wash and dry

I was able to keep the truck smelling new for like 3 years. I just changed my cabin air filter again and with my truck being filthy from hauling wood and toys offroad inside and out I broke down and caved into buying an air freshener finally.

After reading many positive reviews on the t.c fb site figured I'd give it a try and I'm very happy I did. Truck smells awesome.

U can get them from bath and bodyworks online. Called scent portable holders with a mahogany teakwood smell. I highly recommend if the cabin air filter change just dont cut it anymore.

They smell awesome without being too overpowering. I bought 2 clips but found I only need 1 for now. It's got a nice manly smell and received many compliments already on how great it smells. U can see it on the vent to left of radio.

Hope this might help another starting to smell funky Tundra owner.

They're strong as hell for about 3 weeks, where I usually have to leave the windows down a bit when I pull in the garage. After that I get a few more weeks though.

Ask n u shall receive. Right now when u buy 3 or more they're 3 bucks each on refills. The holder is like 5 bucks and over $25 ships free.
    https://www.bathandbodyworks.com/c/home-fragrance/car-fragrance-promotion

I almost went that route but heard the vent ones are bit stronger due to blowing warm air.

Good to hear. I gotta say this scent teakwood is pretty amazing. It's not over powering and manly.

U guys have any other smells that are great like this?

Yeah I bet that's true. Mines real strong the first week and begins to taper off.
"Ocean" is another good scent to get.

Nice tnx. Yeah I'm new to it. But if I find the vent to be too strong, which I haven't yet. I might go with the visor clip. I'd prefer the lower profile. I was gonna clip on the rear vent but with the way my 5 yr old bounces around back there and never knowing which side he's going to get out depending on which way his older brother does, I'm sure it wouldn't last long with out getting bumped into and broken.

I might have waited too long to get since it's finally warmed up here in NJ, but I've heard the vent clips with warm air heats up the gel pack and really moves the scent around. Makes sense I guess.

Although very new to it, I'm very happy with it. Wifey hasn't even got a whiff yet. I'm sure when she does my other clip will be stolen by her and I'll have to be buying new scents for her car now lol.

The subtleness and keeping the clip up and out of the way are my two reasons for the visor clip.
    It does the trick!

Finished my blackout emblems/sticker removal today. I think it took me about an hour just to tape off the toyota emblems.

Wow, that's a lot of work. When I use plastidip, I only tape a square around the whole badge. Then I peel off the extra around the badge using a plastic edging tool. Same result with about 2 hours less time...

Went to a local stereo shop on a work break, looking to upgrade speakers and get an 8" powered sub for my 2017 CM SR5 non-JBL. Just wanted better sound, a little bass, nothing for showing off. The installer was very helpful and suggested to go with an HU Power Pack since the speakers were still practically 'new'. He said they do that all day long when people just want a little better sign. So, got the Alpine Power Pack KTA-450 and Alpine PWE-S8. Price was $800 drive out, 3 hour job. Everything is great, except now vocals sound really washed out, like they are in a bathroom or something. The shop said they would dial it in, have no idea if that happened or not. I have my treble and mid maxed on the HU. Here are some pics. The power pack is also laying on the floor, right in front of the vents, not secured. Not really a big deal if AC is blowing, not sure how good that is when heat is coming out..I really wasn't planning on getting this so quickly and without research, but when they were able to fit me in today, that fire started in my pocket!

Back to the interior: made a mod to the useless oversized cup holder. Used a piece of 3” abs plastic pipe (the inside diameter is the same as the narrowed bottom of the cup holder) and held it in place with adhesive foam gasket. Holds a coffee cup perfectly.
Also my LH grab handle finally came from Megazip, took a month but was worth the wait for $106 shipped. I love the grab handle!! Definitely worth the money. 72776275-154F-41E5-8C0C-3A19BFD0F66C.jpg
