Trailer harness reverse circuit?

    Does anyone know if the reverse circuit for the trailer harness is separate from the reverse lights in taillights? I am installing some 4 amp leds in bumper. I currently have auxiliary backup light at 1.5 amps each and no problems. I have back lights on trailer and brake lock out selenoid. I don't want to over load blow a fuse and not able to back up trailer.
