I hope to have another update posted shortly with more in-depth details on the lights. This will include close-up photos of the lights for you to see how they look :)

No plans to offer the SAE approved optics in front of a Squadron Pro circuit board. It would be too powerful for the street and defeat the purpose of using an SAE approved optic

Correct - we don't offer the Squadron Sport, Flush Mount, in Amber Work/Scene. It's only available in white light output found here:
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-sport-flush-mount-led-flood-work.asp

We don't carry an Amber Spot Lens for the Squadron. This prevents us from building Amber Work/Scene Flush Mount Squadrons as well as Amber Spot Flush Mount Squadrons.

looking to get amber squadron sport fogs for driving in massive sierra snow storms. can you confirm these are considered street legal? Also, i'm thinking driving/combo would be best as opposed to the wide cornering for that application.

The squadron sport lights are not SAE street legal. Baja Designs is planning to release SAE street legal fog lights later this year, currently slatted for June release

The current Squadron Sports are not considered street-legal or street-friendly. We are working on an SAE approved Squadron that is estimated to release this June. It will be a street-friendly fog light and is a great option for those that need something that can be used with other traffic.

@Baja Designs I am planning out the install for my wife's future ditch lights for a 4Runner. She has a pair of Squadron Sports. If I am not mistaken the harness for the pass side needs to be extended to reach. I saw a Rago youtube video and he used 16awg wire. I was just looking at the harness and its 20. I am assuming just getting a section of 20awg will be fine. I plan on getting some 600v 200c ultra flexible wire and using the solder splice butt connectors then wrapping all that with clear heat shrink. I am sure that the heat shrink is a touch over kill but just making sure. Will 20awg work or should I use 16? Also are the harness's the same awg for the XL80's? Thinking about running those on my a pillars as well. Thanks.

16 would be best for Squadron Sports. The XL80s would need 12 since they have a significantly higher amp draw

Couldn't get any at Overland Expo West, there were too many objects in the way. We'll be working on capturing accurate night shots soon.

Cosmetically, the Squadron SAE is almost identical to the Squadron Wide Cornering. The optics and behind the lens does change slightly.

Hex button heads would hold the s2 brackets perfect. No need to get longer ones.
