I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
I’m looking to buy a 12-14” high bed rack for my 2019 CM leading to a RTT at some point. I’d like to be able to keep my OEM tri-fold tonneau cover to minimize dust. I do realize that I can’t “open” the tonneau due to clearance but no worries since I have a Bedslide. I don’t know if MM or RCI can be installed with the OEM tonneau.

MaxModular is attractive because they have a slide cargo tray available. I hope the racks are available in all black. I like the looks of the RCI rack though.

Any thoughts on which way to go?

I just had the RCI bed rack and don’t believe it can be used with the cover. It needs to sit on top of your truck bed so you unless you cut out of the spot in the tonneau cover then it will not work. Max Modular is the only one on the market that works with the covers that I have seen.

I just got my Max Modular on. I took my Bakflip off because I’m carrying a Decked drawer system in the bed. It’s not all black but it looks good!

@KB Voodoo Max Modular comes in 10" height, 14" height, others taller too. And offer a clip that lets you mount the rack a bit higher to keep a tonneau cover on the bed, like you want (the clip adds 2+/- " overall height above the bedsides).

I like the Max Modular overall. I found it a PITA to assemble, but others have no problem. Both have threads on here with more info (weight comparisons, photos). Deep in on of the KB threads (I wish he'd list it on the main first post) is a list of compatible tonneau covers. I see you've been here a while, so I don't want to irritate you; let us know if you need a hand searching.

That looks nice! I may get away with the 14” MM since I have a Bedslide and not the vertical height of a Decked System. I may need a butt lift soon because the back of the truck will definitely sag with all these added weight. I’ve been avoiding this but it seems to be inevitable.

I never find shared information/ thoughts irritating. I’m a newbie in trucks so I’d rather get first had opinion than trial and error that will cost me $$$... better your money than mine. Haha.

I’ve read many threads here on racks but mostly focused on photos to see different styles and manufacturing quality. Once I pick the rack for me then I’ll focus on install threads.

Btw, I read on one of the threads that you’ll be selling your RTT soon. DM me when you decide to do so.

I'll sell it now! I just needed to get through all the craziness leading up to T2S. Let's PM each other tomorrow.

If anyone in the San Diego area is considering an RCI, I would sell mine. Used once. Going with a GoFastCamper instead so I have no need for the rack. Will post a FS thread as soon as I find time.

There you go, @rmvcard0303, pick up his rack over by the coast in SD, then head inland to get my RTT. All we need now is a schedule that works.

Ahead of intended schedule but will have to jump on opportunities if and when they arise. I see @pbcolt has a DC. I’ll have to check fitment on my CM. Please DM me your asking prices and I’ll work on a schedule if everything falls in line.

    Thanks!

I stopped reading threads for a while because the ideas never end. I need to make time for the family and stop tinkering with the truck. Haha.
