Hi, new member to the forum as of yesterday when I traded my 2015 4Runner for a 2019 Limited CrewMax 4x4. So far, the experience and change from the 4Runner is great.

Did not notice when during walk through with the dealer, but the rear drivers side window does not fully retract, about 1/8 inch of the window by the pillar is above the sill. On the passenger side, when the window is retracted and we shut the door we hear a rattle - pretty sure this is the window as when it is closed the rattle does not occur.

I realize the dealer could fix this, but I like to handle interior trim items on my own given some past experiences. So, looking for some repair guidance.

    Thanks

    Welcome from northern Maryland :hattip:

Dam that sucks - brand new truck with an issue already- don’t have any experience with that issue yet on my 18- a week away from owning it For a year- sorry no help- I would take right back to “STEALER” were I bought it from- but I understand your hesitation- I won’t let them do my “free” maintenance service-just did my own first oil change

    Good luck with issue

Thanks for the welcome, happy to finally be here. Did some additional research on the window issues, should not be a difficult fix as there are only three parts; window glass, track and regulator. Based on what is happening the piece the holds the window to the regulator is either loose or not installed correctly.
