That looks AWESOME!!! I may consider this on my 1794 wheels. How does it hold up and how does it remove when I'm wanting something new?

I put that exact kit on my 2008. I will use it on my 2018 when the time comes.

Cleaned out all the dog hair and slobber!

Added those blue rubber interior inserts. It took me like 20 minutes to figure out where all of them go, and some of them I'm still not sure are in the correct place.

Also installed a dash cam. Used a couple block magnets to install the rear. I was pretty sceptical about it being sturdy enough, but after driving down the roughest road near me it held up perfectly and the video came out smooth. Just waiting on the hardwire kit to get here on Tuesday to hide the rest of the wires. 20190518_122502.jpg 20190519_140433.jpg20190519_140513.jpg

That would be my alternative to it coming loose. I just drilled a very small pilot hole and allowed the screw to tap itself. But that is def a sure fire way to not back it out lol

This is my first try with wheels so I cant speak for longevity or ease of removal. The key is to use a lot of product from what I read. 4 cans of color and 3 cans of glossifier. Probably 10 coats total per wheel. Its a little darker than your 1794 badge color but would look great. Dipyourcar.com has a ton of color options.

Looks great! I was just looking into pressure washers today. Lots of great options out there. I think i might go with an electrical one...maybe ryobi.

Thanks man. I should have done it long ago. Let's see how it holds up now. Also gotta watch out for those curbs. One scrape and it'll look like shit I think. I should have ordered a few extra cans when they were on sale.

I'm curious to know how well they hold up too! I dipped my Tacomas bumper ends and they gouged/peeled if you looked at them funny.

I have posted this before but just want to make y’all aware if you are wanting the TUNDRA decal inserts for under the radio you need to make sure and order the correct one based on what climate system you have. Another member sent me his spare set and it looked ok but the letters seemed a little small for the logo. I didn’t realize there were different sizes until I went to order the tailgate handle overlays so I got another set for the non - dual zone climate control and they fit much better.

Before and after - kinda hard to tell from the pics

Me too. And the door handles too. I can't justify spending for color matched and am afraid to do it myself

Agreed on the price. I did my door handles too. Cost about $100 total for paint and clear. Lots of youtube and a bit of practice with wet sanding and polish.

This picture is a couple of months old. I really do need to get some updated pics now that I've started making a few changes. I have some of the TVD vinyls on the way and the BumperShellz of course. Plans for some interior and exterior LED updates. Nothing major, just seeing what you guys are doing and have done, and kind of picking the things that I like. This is a cool forum. Good people and good "community" feel.
