i installed my +3 shackles on my 16 pro last night and my exhaust is hitting the leaf springs now just sitting there, did I miss something or do you have to take the truck to a muffler place to rework the exhaust????

It says on his site that it works with TRD dual exhaust. I would contact him with pics. You should be able to get that worked out quickly.

The exhast isn’t even in the rubber exhaust hanger and it’s an 1/8” from touching. I need to go up about an inch to be in the exhast hanger.

It was stock. Mine didn’t have what yours has. I cut the exhaust right after the axle. No more dragging the tips and hitting the pipe with the springs.

Ok so how many leafs are stock? Is there anything wrong with turning the u bolt upside down so the bolts face up?

I think it was 4. I’ll have to find mine original springs. I put Alcan springs on mine a while back.

I just used a different hanger that allowed us to "push" the tailpipe down a bit to avoid contact. I'm running CB +3 as well.

You can see your helper leaf on there. If you don’t haul you could remove it

Extended shackles are bad for your leaf springs

From the looks of those particular helper springs, the u bolt needs to be oriented that way to sit in the groove on the spring end. If it were turned around would the flat part of the u-bolt rest in the groove?

After review, yes they definitely have add a leaf. I didn’t know that till now. I do tow a lot so i May extend the exhaust a couple inches down. The tires are on the ground full weight btw.

Ok 1 more thing, I bought cb shims for the front and this says 1” lift but it’s only 1/2” thick. That make sense?

    chop chop..:sawzall:
when the truck is on a lift the droop will be even more. Those springs gonna rest on the exhaust pipe.

I had to chop mine (running Deavers and extended bypasses though)
