Guys, need to order up new suspension for my new truck and can’t figure out the difference (besides 1 piece vs welded, price and probably weight/ strength) between the two icon options. I don’t want recommendations for other brands, just the pros and cons of the two listed here. Thanks!

I had the tubular for about 30k of easy driving, no complaints at all. I think the billet looks a lot better, and probably stronger.

Go SPC and save hundreds of dollars. I debated getting icon UCA’s but ended up getting the SPC’s. They are supposed to be better in a Chicago winter with the covered greased ball joint. Some said uniball is not the way to go with the road salt and road chemicals used here.

I have Camberg Billet Upper Arms, and they're great. Expensive as they get, but wanted some easily adjustable, capable, and wanted the eye candy, of course.

I do like the ICON delta joint design, too.

I have had the tubular Icon arms for about 2 1/2 years without issue. One thing you will notice with the tubular version is the amount of caster engineered into the arms are lower compared to other brands. I will eventually change out my uppers for the billet version to gain more adjustability. The Icon billet arms are the only heimed uppers that allows you to adjust the arms on the truck. It really depends on how you intend to use your truck and your budget. I hope this helps.
