Picked up a striped spikes Crusader lower yesterday.

Took my previous build, Aero lower, PSA freedom moe rifle kit, to a range yesterday as well was ringing steel at 200 yards with iron sights. Ran great. Only slight problem is the trigger pin wants to walk out the right side a little. Will get retaining pin for it and swap it out.

    Now onto my next build.....

RLHOK, what's your thoughts on a Anderson lower. I'm looking to purchase a lower before the shit hits the fan. This will be a first for me. Newbie to the Ar scene. My buddy has a Bushmaster, nice to shoot. Just looking for a good starting point and keeping it reasonable cost wise. Thanks

I have an Anderson lower and an aero precision lower. Also had a couple other Aeros and a DPMS. All were very equal quality. There is only a few forges that make lowers. They will have a raised forge mark, usually a "keyhole" a square or and "A". My Anderson and my friends Spikes have the same keyhole forge mark. Essentially the same lower with a different roll mark. Get an Anderson they are just as good as any other Lower.

Oh No! Lt, you changed your avatar. I guess if anyone says anything about the GMC we'll just have to say, "it's OK, he's our mascot."lol

It's all good man. I love the Tundra, and would buy another if I didn't tow heavy. This time though I would go Limited at a minimum, but most likely a Pro.

Then Rudys BBQ afterwards  I can do saturdays. Just need to plan ahead so I don't book myself to go out on patrol that day.

Good lowers for the money. Some folks have reported out of spec holes but that can happen with any lower no matter how much you pay. I say go for it and pick up a couple, trust me get at least 2. You will not stop at just one.
