I have an 07 tundra that I just bought. I love this truck so much but I noticed that the seat belt chime and symbol comes on while driving periodically.
I always wear my seat belt* let me say that first before anyone complains.*
It's irritating to know that while driving, the chime comes on about ten times during my commute! I hate it!
What can I do about this problem without going to the dealership?

Take your lunch box out of the passenger seat!

Seriously, if you have something sitting in the passenger seat that I believe weighs close to maybe 10-12 lbs it will cause this to happen. I run a bullydog that takes the chime away but it doesn’t shut lights off and I notice every once in awhile that the light will start blinking.

Maybe check the wiring under your seat for the seatbelt sensor, could be loose or broken. Alternatively, you could grab a copy of techstream and OBD2 cable and disable the seatbelt chime altogether... But would probably be best to fix the issue, not treat the symptom.

Yup, this would be the issue if there is anything on the passenger's seat.

Well damn. They can't all be easy, can they? I'm thinking two possibilities then. Option 1: something is wrong with the seatbelt switch in the driver's seatbelt buckle, wiring, or it's connector. Option 2: the weight sensor in the passenger's seat is reading incorrectly.

Here's my suggestion to try to narrow that down. Next time you're driving solo, buckle the passenger's seat belt as well, even though the seat is empty. If the warnings continue, it's likely option 1. If silence and (almost) world peace, then option 2.

It could be, a bad connection in the receiver portion of the seat belt, You can try some contact cleaner and insert and remove the seat belt a few times quickly to see if it frees up the switch. You can also put the seat all the way forward and make sure the wiring isn't damaged under the seat.
