What's the verdict with the spc cam bolts? Did the truck align well?

They worked out, pretty good alternative to Toyotas $400+ mind blowing price for bolts/sleeves/washers/nuts

The tech got me within specs pretty easy, normally they go to the high end on caster but this time they didn't. It might be a better balance than what I'm used to because the camber doesn't shift as greatly when I turn, so it's pretty stable on freeways.

That big gapping hole scares me. :D :p
    Super clean "build" though

    Sorry man, didn't see this.

I'm running Apollo 2s for shrouds. I might have better pics at home. I had bought the black headlight kit that a lot of guys here have, I think I off Amazon. I got that because it had what used to be hard to find black corners with amber signals. I took them apart and painted the insides even more black and the shrouds too.

I'm running a D2s kit from Retrofit Source with the 55 watt ballasts. I rarely come across anybody with better lighting.

Are these something that need to be replaced, or just something you wanted to do? I'm still trying to learn more about alignments.

I think it depends where you live. Mine lasted 15 years and probably would have been okay if I didnt remove them to replace lower control arms. Alignment shops only loosen them a bit to make adjustments, once I got past "loose" and went towards taking off they were stuck. Years of rust/sediment accumulated near the end of two bolts and they stripped because of it.

Did you ever do your rear bearings? Those old front ones of yours looked gnarly.

Nope, haven't had a need to so far but I considered it. Just from the mileage and age it seems like a good idea but not high on my priorities.

I like how you tied right into the caliper with the flexible hose. How is that working out for you so far?

Where did you finally mount that dangling clip hanger?

@empty_lord and @Professional Hand Model my sincere apologies, I should sub my thread because I didnt see those questions.

Empty knows he was looking for Casper.

Handy, I picked up a set of banjo lines from a first gen Tacoma, that eliminated the hard line completely. I also have a set of Tundra style lines that would do the same, just not sure where they are. Solo Motorsports has them, they use them with their lift spindle kit, I picked a pair up off them years ago and never installed them.

I've got a small number of parts I don't need somewhere, maybe I'll do some give aways here some time.

Thanks. I just noticed your lines when studying for my recently performed brake job and that was the only reason for asking. My re-used OEM hard lines are working fine.

It isn't as easy for 06 but seems possible. Some smarter guys than me are figuring that out in the yellowbox thread. It is very nice to have.

05/06 have a different trans and a very different wire scheme than older trucks. 04 seems to be flip a coin.

Don't have any pics of the rear really. This is a few years back.

    03. Not gonna bother painting the bumper since it isn't staying long term. Next year I'm building tube bumpers.

So 03 got the first face lift? For some reason I thought it was 04.

03 had a lot of changes. Face lift, different trans, 13w brakes mid year, no side molding on the bed, maybe a few other things. 04 is first year of the double cab, the bastard year with some one year only parts, no vvti or 5 speed.

And here I thought the 00-04 all had the same 4 speed auto is 95-04 tacos and 96-02 4runners. A340 or A430 I think. Does yours have the ECT button?
