    Installed my new tow mirror lenses. Kind of a bitch. The fastener screws were Torx 15. Not an easy access angle. Fired the Torx and used phillip screws for the finish. Quite bright actually.

    These new lenses are actually brighter than the OEM version. The lenses aren't smoked. They are clear. I've seen a smoked version but not bright enough to use as markers imho.

    Unlike Saturday I managed to not space out my cell phone. Went up to Red Rocks, Dinosaur Ridge Learning Center, and swung by Bandimere Speedway. Wanted to show Manny the track. When I drove into Bandimere I immediately realized that were races going on...:yes:. I drove on up to the staging area and parked with all the cool cars. Guys were racing their Maserati's, Lambo's, Vipers, Caddy's, classic rides, you name it. I was a bit surprised that the new souped up Caddy sedans were faster than s**t. Really fast.....

    I've seen that Chevy before at the Truck Fest at Bandimere. There were maybe 6 Rolling Power trucks on display that day. Not sure how you would get in them without a ladder...mall crawlers....What's cool is that a lot of the cars racing yesterday are souped up daily drivers with roll cages...Some folks got money to burn. Perfect day for running the 1/4.

    Yep. Pretty old. San Luis Valley was first visited by native Americans to hunt and fish over 11,000 years ago. There were Folsom hunters there during the Paleo period. Some amazing finds at Stuarts Cattle Guard.

    Yep. After my dad got tired of flying A-4's and CH-46's for the Marines in 65 he bought a small ranch in Oregon and sold the new Japanese vehicles out of the first Toyota dealer in Eugene. I got to ride in a new red demo cruiser in 66. I was 11. I earned my Toyota stripes a long time ago. Rode in a new red Corona then too.

    So....I decided to upgrade my new rear chrome bumper and ordered a Ranch Hand Sport Series bumper. Not too sporty in my view but very utilitarian. Weighs around 88lbs and lots of 1/4" steel used for the guts. I happen to like the look of diamond plate too. Comes with two LED backup lights. There are also foot wells on each end.

    So....I picked up a dusty NIB aFe after work. Seller wanted $150 which isn't bad at all. We have a factory CAI already but I made an offer for $130 and seller accepted. SCORE! Was a gift but seller never installed it and sold his Tundra. Ball then was in my court since seller had no use for it. Cheapest price I found for a new one was $333 so basically 1/3 off. What was kuul is that when I opened the box up...........a Pro 5R blue five layered progressive filter as in......pre oiled which is what I prefer. Air box is huge and so is the filter. Intake pipe much larger in diameter than OEM. During install I checked my MAF and it was clean as a whistle. Not bad considering I've been using an evil oiled K&N drop in for over......4 years. Too new to review but low end throttle response was quite noticeably better even more so when I went to T/H mode.

    Decided to unwrap the RH. Well packed, welds look good, no scratches dings, and bent brackets. Came with two Optronic submersible 6"oval LED 160 lumen back up lights and a pair of nifty plate lights. The foot cutouts on the ends are a nice add. Weighs 88 lbs.
