Bought a used macbook what to do?

Just bought a faulty MacBook off ebay and the screen is broken. Thinking to get these https://appuals.com/best-monitors-for-macbook-pro/ , are these any good? Need suggestions!

 

Not sure why there is a difference of getting a monitor for a max versus a pc.

What do you do with it?

Graphics, video?
Surf the net?

 

I have 2 of the lg monitors listed, I like them. They are good all around monitors with decent feature balance for gaming and editing. Most of the monitors listed seemed more geared to editing/design work. If you aren’t doing that type of work you could save by stepping down a model level or two.

 

Depending on the generation of macbook, you could try looking at ifixit, they have a good majority of mac parts and very nice instructions on how to replace parts. Ive used them on a bunch of apple products and have always had good luck.

 

I've replaced many PC laptop screens and they're fairly easy. Macbooks are likely a bit harder to work on but I agree ifixit should have the right instructions and parts should be readily available on ebay
