I did some work on my grill and bumpers today. Got tired of that huge chrome thing looking at me. this turned out to be an all day project but it was fun.IMG_1922.jpgIMG_1931.jpg

I did plastidip as a test to see if i liked the black out look with this color. I do! I will probably get some color match stuff as I start replacing things but this is a great temporary fix. I did badges last weekIMG_1901.jpgIMG_1906.jpg

Nice. I did my Jeeps wheels with plasti and when I traded it in for my truck on Friday they still looked like new.

Finally got my SDHQ Rocksliders installed yesterday morning. Love them! Light and strong. Make a decent step too... My short little wifey is very happy with them too. :)

Can't say enough good things about SDHQ either. Superb customer service and killer product!

Thnx man! Super happy with them!

Ridiculously well built and strong, yet not a whole lot heavier than the Nerf Bars the truck came with... And those weren't going to last very long. Almost ruined those in the mountains in the first couple of weeks of ownership. LOL. These are more better! They tuck up in nice and tight, and in the event of 'contact' there's no way they are going anywhere.

Tried installing my radio letters today. No success...

Mike, I am real interested in knowing how your letters fit. I have a 2016 Platinum with Entune Premium radio and dual A/C controls. My new silver letters arrived and I attempted the install today. Unfortunately, they are too long which puts the proportion off - I measured the letters against the indent in the radio and they appear to be 1/16" too long. Rich is going to note this on the eBay web site, but I just wanted you to know of my issue in case you run into this yourself. He refunded my money and will try again later. It may be a 2016 only issue?

Lot of guys are washing drying aND then going over it with isopropyl alcohol. Probably could scuff them up a bit with 800 or 1000 grit sandpaper. I'm gonna do the sanding for sure on my end caps

Same. I did the install and they didn't fit well. He also refunded my money right away. Awesome communication and great seller just has slight fitment issue. Said he would correct and let us know when they are ready. I have a 2014 platinum with dual climate controls.

Yea I washed and dried then went over it with isopropyl alcohol. Used q tips in small areas like on badges. Prep takes a long time to tape and clean. The spraying is easy but if you do as much as I did this saturday using 6 cans you may feel like you have carpel tunnel.

Put a vinyl Hood Decal, but needs to be redone. It was 2 pieces and had a gap. Then plastidip'd the bumper ends, wow!
