Hello all, new member and very happy owner of my first Tundra.

2016 Radiant Red Regular cab SR5.

As a carpenter/contractor this is both my daily driver and my workhorse, hence the need for the 8 foot box which I use daily in one way or another. The first 10,000kms have been flawless as expected. Coming from my 03 Dodge Ram this is superior in every single aspect.

Being no stranger to forums, vehicles in general it didn't take long for the modding to begin.

First came then protection and work related mods:

    - Full clay/hand polish/detail with a complete set of Zaino bros synthetic polymer paint protection, (I used this on all my vehicles for the last 15 years, hands down the best I've ever found) Aerospace 303 on all the plastics.

    - Spray in boxliner. I left the factory plastic on the box rail tops as it's a nice clean look.

    - Weathertech floormats. I live in Canada and these are a must for saving the carpets.

    - Weathertech licence plate frames. Full cover, no visible fasteners.

    - Weatherguard flat black toolbox. Again, one of the best I've found for build quality and security.

    - Access roll up tonneau cover. Love this thing.

Then came the cosmetics. Originally I wanted to do the full TRD PRO conversion, but I decided to be a little more conservative and save a few thousand by going a different route. Eventually I'll do a full chrome delete, but I amhappy with the changes.

    - Platinum grill and fog lights
    - 18% window tint
    - TRD PRO blacked out emblems, plasti-dipped the SR5 badge.
    - TRD off-road wheels, PRO centre caps.
    - LTX AT2's 275/65/18
    - Bilstein 5100's on the top setting.

Very happy with the changes so far. I was initially concerned the ride would be harsh on the highest setting but it seems great so far. The steering "feel" has also improved with the front end being tightened up.

    Now, Pictures!

Welcome and enjoy your new truck.

I actually like the regular cab, longbox look. The double cab, not so much.

Welcome to the forum. Normally I'd say get ready to be bitten by the modding bug, but it's apparent you already have. Good looking RCLB

Awesome truck! I love Regular Cabs. If it was practical for me I would want a RC short bed.
