I found the grille. Is the hood bulge included in that or is that separate? And as far as front bumper caps, I think I read you don’t sell them painted and that I’d have to get a local paint shop to paint? Apologize for the questions as i am fairly new to this thread.

I order the grill and hood bulge in cavalry blue. And I found some front bumper end caps elsewhere in cavalry blue so I order the seals and clips mentioned in the OP. Can you check if everything in my order was correct

Will a 2017 sr5 chrome grille fit and work on a 2018 truck with the tss sensor? I understand that the sensor is in the emblem, will the 2018 emblem fit the 2017 chrome grille?

Are you certain the rear leaf springs are different? When I search the parts catalog, the rear leaf springs have the same part number for the TRD Pro and the CM Platinum.

 

What are the bolt specs for the 5.7L exhaust system from cats to muffler section, and muffler section to tailpipe? I'm waiting until it gets warmer out to install my new @dirtydeeds system and paint tailpipe, but I'd like to replace the bolts with some stainless, and in case I break any (road salt). I found the exhaust parts fiche (https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.c...-7l-v8-gas/exhaust-system--exhaust-components) but it doesn't show the individual hardware.

 

@Roman Can you check on 75708-33070 and 75707-33070. Are they really $445 per trim piece?

 

Hey @Roman so I got the mirror caps in, but they are the wrong color. See below. I'm assuming I can return these and get the cavalry blue color right? I ordered the two SKU's that I confirmed, but maybe they picked the wrong ones. The packing slip confirms the SKU's that the part numbers that I listed out in an earlier post in this thread.

 

You sure that is the correct order #? I'm showing 46738 was a set of mudguards for a Tacoma.

No, the sensor will not fit into the older model grille. You'd have to come up with a way to mount it.

 

I can get you the Toyota parts for it, but you'd probably want some nice stainless bolts from a bolt shop. The bad thing is the catalog does not give me their actual sizes.

Yep, that is correct. It has to do with the XSE being a two tone or something like that. That's the only difference in the description for those parts.

Those were definitely the right part numbers. I've ran into Toyota boxing these up incorrectly in the past. Part number should end in J1 for paint code 8W2. Shoot me your order number, and I'll get another set ordered in for you.

 

I didn’t read through all 63 pages but you may want to add the part # for the 2019 TRD Pro shock package and rear ABS sensor bracket. I get a lot of messages asking for them.

I don't have the TRD Pro suspension listed because Toyota has not yet released the kit for sale. They are currently only supplying replacement parts for Pros.

I just installed the kit 2 weeks ago on my 2013 Crewmax SR5. I’ve also met a guy at Home Depot that recently installed them on his 15 SR5.

 

If those were purchased new from a dealership for a non TRD Pro Tundra, then the dealership did so against Toyota's manual allocation rules, and that's a good way to get in big trouble. This MAC report is from this week:



All of those parts are service replacements only. I highlighted the Tundra Pro suspension parts.

 

I was unaware of that policy and they didn’t say anything about it. I just gave them a part number and they ordered it. I hope they don’t get in trouble!

 

There are ways around it. They can supply Toyota with a VIN from a Pro and order the parts one at a time to not raise suspicion, but I'm not about to do that. I love you guys, but I also like my job.
