This may be a stupid question, and I think the answer is no, but I will ask anyways. I have a set up 275/70r18 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2's on my 14' Tundra. Tires are currently white wall out. I probably have around 35-40% tread left. A couple of the tires have started wearing or "cupping" pretty bad on the outside edge, even with rotations every 5,000 miles. So here is my question: Can I have the tires remounted with the black wall out putting the worn edges on the inside? I know it CAN be done, I guess the question really is, does that screw anything up?

The question is if you are having problems with your tires do you really want to risk your life or someone elses because you dont want to correct the problem?

    Can it be done? Yes

    Should it be done? NO

I agree with @Gotyour6. Once tires are cupped that bad, they are done. With that low of a tread remaining, I wouldn't risk it. I would get new tires, alignment, and any other replacement items required.

Thanks for the input. I'll just plan on a new set of skins. Also going to add some 5100's when I replace the tires.

Smart decision, especially from the safety perspective.

With the new tires have someone look at it to stop the issue with them wearing.
