Been thinking of dipping my wheels. I found a color I like. Called brass monkey, and I'd go gloss for a little easier cleaning. Anyone here dip your wheels? Good or bad experience? DYC has a 20% off sale right now, so I can get a full gloss wheel kit for like $65.

Well I’ve had mine for 6 months and couldn't be happier. If it lasts a year and a half I’ll be more then happy. 5 coats of black and 2 coats of satin clear. Wife curbed one rim and it isn’t peeling around the curb marks. I’d say it’s solid for what it is!

They do sell something called dip dissolver. Probably will buy that when the time comes

A little of this and a little of that.

In places it didn’t want to come off. I had to use thinner to get it to come off. Plus it chips and dings really easy and looks like crap.
