    I sent a couple emails
Meh, I will go local and see what they have.
I have an appointment today with a place to discuss what I am looking for.
I used them over the last 15 years but like everyone else they got to big to have good support.

Would like this done in the next week or so and waiting over a week when he responded here to a forum is a bit odd but he may be too busy now with joining a forum and selling a lot of kits as well as the group buy that when on.

May take him a couple weeks to catch up

A new headunit is definately the best way to go. The stock unit integrates so well with the steering wheel controls, etc that I didn't want to mess with it. After doing my research, I went with the ********* full setup with 4 speakers, two 12" subs and dual amps. I'm really happy with the results.
That said, I'm not going to be winning any IASCA comps with this setup, but for windows down summer cruising it's just perfect.

I didn't switch out the dash but did add the DSR1. I'm still kicking around the idea, for now it still looks totally stock...but it sure doesn't sound stock!

I swapped my dahh speakers before I had decided to change head unit and add an amp. I got them from James, 3.5 infinity reference cfx in the corners and dual JL C1 tweeters on his custom bracket in the center. I ended up powering those from the headunits speaker outputs, just ran new wires to each speaker. Was easy enough but not really necessary once you amplify the door components

Centex, I have the same system and upgraded the center to C1’s and the corner dash speakers too. The corners were too overpowering so I disconnected them. I do however really like the C1’s at the center. Well worth the $75 in my opinion.

I will look into upgrading the center channel. You are running right off of the head unit vs an amp? I'm sure that's plenty of power since the center should be more subtle and thanks for the heads up on the corner dash speakers, I can see how that might put too much sound in the front.

Oh ok. That was probably a lot of juice going to the front dash.

PS great looking Lab! I have a black female that just turned 1.

I have the stock JBL so I’m running the center channel off the front outputs of the RD900/5 bridged.

I went with an OEM Audio+ system for my non JBL H/U. It was pretty much a done deal after the ********* guy got pissy when I told him his practice of moving orders to the back was nonsense.

My system has been sitting in a closet since it got here, as I had a pretty severe rotator cuff repair in mid February, and was under strict instructions to lift nothing more than a cup of coffee. Yesterday morning, I got a text from OEM, asking me how I was, and how the system sounded. That’s some pretty cool follow up, and I’m going to attempt the install over the long holiday weekend.
