Hello to whom it may interest,
I have searched far and wide on many different Forum's for answer's on how big I could go with my tire size on my stock 2016 Toyota Tundra Crewmax TRD Offroad 4x4. I have looked for over 2+ years and I have only seen one other person to have done this with some Nitto Terra Grapplers.
I just wanted to show anyone who was interested that I just fit a set of 295-70-R18 Toyo Open Country AT2 on my stock truck no lift(I do have a trd pro skid plate installed) and again this is not a Trd Pro this is just a Trd Offroad that is the same height as the Stock Tundra.
I love the stance of the truck now and probably will not lift now.
I Have had no rubbing lock to lock and even going a little offroading I tried the steering lock to lock and there was no rubbing.
I only had to remove the little front air dam and was also able to keep the front Mudflaps!
If anyone is on the fence about this is as much as I was I say do It, You wont regret it.

Also, Attached to this post is 5 pictures of the truck after new tires were put on.

I have an 08 with the current rims you have, was thinking of adding 1.25” spacers and a level only in the front. Think they’d be ok?
