    Hi all,

I'm installing a ********* SQ1 system into a 2019 Tundra Crewmax TRD Pro. Midstream (day 5) into an install that should've taken two to three...Just figured out the sub box won't fit, period. Anyone else had / solved this issue?

I installed the Ballistic matting as per their instructions. When trying to install the larger part of the rear seat (driver side), it stops against the sub box at the rear horizontal brace / bar. Did the '19's change the rear seat by chance? There's no way it will fit; at this point I can only guess that either the rear seat horizontal brace has changed, or the aft wall in the truck is somehow bulged forward an inch or so. We've tried to maneuver it in every possible combination but the end result is that it's about an inch shy, front to rear. No way it will fit, period. My only thought is to cut a relief into the front of the box to make room for the rear seat bar, then seal it from the inside like the cutouts for the other brackets.

The pic shows the rear bar on the seat and the square I drew on the box shows about where the seat stops against it. The box is as far back against the rear panel of the truck as it can go, making contact.

Anyone else run into this?? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

2LB Sledge would massage that brace right to where it needs to be.

Thought about it...but then it pushes the seat back forward making it unusable for a passenger. I bought the truck so all three kids could fit...

It’s a little late; entire thing is installed except for this stupid box...

Follow up...no way that box fits a Crewmax. None. I even cut a relief for the rear bar; when I did, the rest of the seat rested against the box, still at least an inch forward of where it needed to sit. I'll talk to ********* tomorrow, and I'm looking for a box as we speak. I'll update after talking with TT.

Wow that really sucks. I have been hearing way to many negative comments concerning ********* lately. Glad I went with tech12volts.

I had a similar issue with my box, but after talking to ********* I realized I was overthinking it after a long day of installing.
The seat actually holds the box in place. There are a few cutouts in the box itself that fit the lower brackets.

What did you come up with HusaUrDaddy?
