Looks good. Here is mine. As soon as my tires wear out, I'm going with 17's.

Yes, the tire shop said I would probably need spacers but seems like with them you may clear UCAs better but adds rubbing to the situation. I thought about buying a set just in case but think I'm going to hold off. Hopefully won't need them.

Yeah i heard With spacers you will rub closer to fender, but can easily modify it with heat gun & removing front flaps.

so, to sum it up you can fit 285/65/20s on stock rims with no rubbing on metal or front sway bar?

I've seen people say no, the tire shop was really only worried about rubbing on UCAs. One person said I should go with 275/65/20 to save on width. But you're talking less than .4 inches. From 10.83 to 11.22. And then, you figure only half is going on each side, so I'm not sure .2 will make a difference. I mean, I guess it can, but I'd rather gain that extra .6 inches in the height with the 285.

Then again, I've seen a bunch on this forum post that they are running 285/65/20 on stock rims, without spacers and had no problems. Some only had to remove from splat.

NO lift as well..I think I will stick to 275/65/20s unless someone posts some pics of no lift and 285/65/20s

Well no, I'm lifting the front 3" so that may come into play with the angle of the UCAs. Guess best thing is install the lift, look and take measurements and then order tires.

Question for guys running 20 inch wheels
I’m looking at new wheels. +25 offset, Bilstein 6112 set at 1.9. I’m currently running +25 18 inch wheels with no rub.
What tires can I run with this setup?
    Will 275/65/20 fit without issue?

So I used to ha e 2015 limited crewmax 4x4 with a 3" front and 1" rear leveling kit/lift and stock rims. I was running the ko2 bfg 285/65r20 with no issues. I did have to remove the spats and trim the skid plate but other than that it was great. I now have atrims. Limited crewmax 4x4 with 3/1 leveling kit and stock rims. I know the bfg ko2 will fit in 285/65r20 but no one can get the ko2 for some reason bfg is discontinuing the tires and replacing with ko2 dt. The dt is not a 4 season tire only a 3 season tire and I have read reviews it is slightly louder than the ko2. Because of this change from bfg I'm now torn as to what tire to go with. I have been considering the ridge grappler in 285/65r20 but from what I can see online it is slightly taller, .2-3" and wider, ..3-4". Does anyone have the ridge grapplers that has run bfg in the past? Did it change the fit at all?

So I have a new 2021 crew max limited with the factory 20 inch wheels 275/55/20. Can I run a size up in tires on these wheels, 275/60/20, without having to do any modifications? Thx

Any pics of how much has to be trimmed off the skid plate ? I’m looking at 285/65 on factory 20s for my platinum not looking to change a bunch of other stuff just yet.

This is a really helpful post. I just got a 2021 crew max limited in the nightshade edition with the black 20inch wheels. Want to size up the tire a bit but really don’t want to do any modifications etc. I was going to go up one size to 275/60/20 vs the 55/20 but may go up two and do what you did. Although other posts seem to suggest doing that will create some rub. Maybe it’s just the newer ones???? Does anybody know?

Can you share some pics of your "2021 crew max limited in the nightshade edition with the black 20inch wheels.". I'm waiting for mine to come in (Jan 18th). So few pics online I'd like to see more pics from actual buyers. Thanks.

Both my 2020 Tundra and 2012 Sequoia had no issues with the TSS after the lift/level in taller tires.

My 12 Sequoia might have some issues due to icicles.

Super white is still avail. Wind chill pearl is a special order that you can get in some models.

Was able to get them to fit with only bending the skid plate. Running 3/2 readylift. Only issue is it needs carrier bearing bushings for takeoff vibration. $20 fix, no issue.

Hey, old post but hopefully you're still active here. I see you are/were running 275/65/20 on a stock tundra. i am looking at 285/60/20. very similar i guess but curious of your take on this. base off you have .8'' height on this but then i have a .4" width added on mine. math behind it, im thinking itll be good but curious for yours or others opinions

I just purchased a set of Toyo ATIII in size 285/65/20. I also have the Bilstein 5100 setup on all four corners (middle setting up front). After install, I was rubbing on the skid plate, the front mud flaps, and the TRD sway bar. My brother has the same Bilstein setup and Nitto Ridge Grapplers in this same size, and he has no rubbing. For mine, I got rid of the mud flap rub by removing them, and fixed the skid plate rub by bending the corners up quite a bit. However, I still get occasional rub on the TRD sway bar. Has anyone come up with the cure for the sway bar rubbing and if left alone, will there be any longer term issues? Thanks guys!

Are you running those tires on stock 20” (60 offset) Limited wheels? Do you have spacers?

I am running later model OEM Toyota wheels that I believe came on Platinum model Tundras…bought them locally to modernize my Limited a bit.

    No wheel spacers.
