So I've been toldby people who have sat in my backseat that I need to get a tool box for the truck to hold all my straps and emergency jumper and other odds and ends that I have in the back seat. But I have a crewmax and don't really want to lose any bed space. Should I just suck it up and get a box or is there another option?

Here is a DIY solution... https://www.tundras.com/threads/2018-crewmax-storage.30416/

@havasubud/ESP has done a 10% off sale around major holidays, so keep an eye out that helps a little. I did the plastic ESP and have been happy with it.

I have a double cab. With under seat storage. Between that and the "crack" under the seat backs I have all my truck-travel-tools, pile of motorbike tie downs, straps, etc. with still enough room to smuggle a couple of kilos. Most every time I see a CM with a bed tool box I start to think "maybe you should just have a Sequoia."

A guy on here used half of a rifle case as under seat storage also. It looked like it worked very well.
