i was just reading someone else having same issue .'

When you plug the bulb into the mirror it has 2 electrical wires that feed the bulb- one is the power and the other is the ground. You want to test the ground side to be sure that there is continuity to ground.

Check for continuity to ground on the ground side of each of these electrical connectors.

The power to these bulbs are sent from the outer mirror control ECU and are powered by the 15 amp MIRROR fuse and the 7.5 amp ACC fuses, be sure these are both powered. From there there is little else you can check without access to a scan tool that has the ability to communicate with the multiplex body control system on this truck.

Check the 2 fuses I listed, these always have power sent to the mirror control ecu, the mirror control ECU is what actually applies power to the lamp circuit when commanded by the body ECU so if this is not a fuse issue then the multiplex communication system needs to be checked, yes this is a obd2 connector but it requires a special scan tool that is capable of communicating with this system, not just a cheap obs2 scanner.

If fuses are good and powered here then yes a multiplex obd2 scan tool is needed, what you are going to find is the diode in that "LED" bulb was screwed up and fried out part of the mirror control ECU or the main Body ECU that controls the mirror ECU.

If there's power at the wires and the bulbs are good, then your contacts are corroded. Get at the brass contacts with a flat blade screwdriver, with emory cloth wrapped around it. That should clean them enough for a good contact.
