Bought a Bakflip MX4, had it for a month and it leaks a lot more than I feel it should. Anyone have any experience with these or any ideas to make it leak less? I would just send it back but Bakflip won’t let me

I have the mx4 and it does leak but minimal which I expected. Is it aligned pretty good and back seals all the way back?

Mine leaks just a little at all four corners.

Same as mine leaks very minimal and even when I drive through car wash.

I expected it to leak at the tailgate a little just due to the function of the cover. I have it pulled back as far as I can on the tailgate without exposing the front of the bed. Mine seems to be leaking at the hinges where it folds. I’m going to try to look at it this weekend and see if I can figure out a way to make it better.

Mine leaks horribly. I expect it to leak a little from the corners, but mine leaks like a waterfall from the sides. I tried adjusting it which didn't help. A waste of money if you ask me. I had a G2 on my last truck which worked as expected.

Pic was taken after lightly spraying it with a hose.

Looks like it is leaking between the side rail and bedside cap. Mine leaks there too, but not to the degree shown in your pic. I've considered removing it and applying a thin bead of black caulk between. I might have to do it this weekend and report back.

Gman31 that’s actually worse than mine leaks but not by much. It shouldn’t leak this bad considering what they cost

Hammerhead, mine was doing the same thing except I only had mine for a few weeks. I contacted them Friday and are supposed to be sending me a new one as well. Hopefully the next cover doesn’t do the same thing.

Got my new cover put on. The rails are different than the previous ones. The seals look a lot better on the folding hinges and overall seems like a much better product than the first one. Supposed to rain this weekend so we’ll see if it’s better.

I bought one a year ago. Leaks, they sent me new one and its to short for the truck bed! they swear its the correct length. I even sent them pictures. The cover is an inch and a half shorter than the old one.

What model truck do you have?
    Length of bed?

I would make them pay to ship back.

2007 crewmax. Bed is 66” and they sent a replacement cover that’s only 64.5”. The old cover is 66”. They swear that’s the correct length. They are full of crap.
