What would look better on a black truck? I was gonna go with black but maybe chrome would look better with the chrome grill. I don’t usually like chrome much but have to admit it looks good on black. What’s the general consensus?

I have fought this same thing. I finally decided to go with a all black wheel, yes I still have chrome. I'm getting ready to order a set of 17" icon rebounds in satin black. This is my truck now, with BBS 20's.

I’m leaning toward staying with black. Where is a good place to buy wheels? How about getting tires and wheels together and having them mounted and shipped. Somewhere like Tire Rack or are there better options?

Ordering wheels and tires already mounted is fine, if you buy new air pressure sensors, they will install those before mounting them. If not, then you will have to break them down and install your OEM sensors. Also, customoffsets has good wheel and tire combo prices.

    Its really up to you,
I like chrome, but not on my truck,

I think a brushed alum is good. just not bright shiny chrome.

I said I was tired of black, but these are sweet. They kinda put off a TRD Pro look 809A9AFA-9A88-4642-B56F-BE2971DC1EBB.jpg

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
I used to really like chrome, but it can be challenging to keep them polished up, looks horrible if they are dirty... but go with what you like.

find a two tone wheel like the trd offroad wheels.

the vast majority here have gone goth with their setup.

chrome is not hard to keep up with. black by default shows everything so I'm not sure how some think it's a better choice for wheels.

now if hp is what you are after then you do need a black tundra.

In my experience, you’ll be cleaning the chrome all the time to make them look good. Black hides some dirt and brake dust.

I’d say a flat black color with some brushed aluminum color accents.

A lot of aftermarket wheels are heavy, also note that in your replacement tires compared to OEM if you care about maintaining mpg.

A member here powder coated their light TRD wheels, looks fantastic.
