I don't dare post this in the actual whiskey thread, but the Crown royal maple is delicious

Picked up a couple of JLP Cognacs recently... a 1973 and a 1992. Both bottled at cask strength and packed with flavor. I think I like the 92 better but these are probably the best ‘yaks I’ve had up to now

A local Rum bar did a barrel selection of Chairman’s Reserve... we dont get much St. Lucian rum here but this one has that funk that many Jamaican rums are known for

Why didn't I see this thread before. I'm mostly a beer drinker, but Siesta Key flavored rums are great. If you're a spiced rum drinker, you'll use the captain as drain cleaner after you taste the Siesta Key. I'm partial to the coconut rum, made with actual coconuts cut in half and toasted. My wife likes their gold rum, but I still stick with Mount Gay.

I’m not a big rum dude. However, Mount Gay XO is goooooodddd. It was recommended to me by a friend from Trinidad. It is almost like a whiskey.

Saw this today, almost picked up just because it was fairly cheap. Any reviews?
