Some comments on dealership technician reliability scares the snot out of me. Am trying to locate OEM repair manual For Tundra, I can only find Haynes 07-14. Would this be the latest reliable source? Anyone use it --hard copy/on-line or both?

The online TIS is pretty good!

You can buy $20 "passes" and download to your hearts delight.

I did it once and of course did nit down load enough as it takes some time to discover how to navigate.

Interestingly I was just checking the prices again and logged in. There's a link "My Documents" and I musta put something in there and now I can access these documents!

While I LOVE having books to reference I think you could get MUCH more info with the TIS service for maybe less. I'd say figure on $40 investment and plan a day with nothing else to do and you could download the significant portions of the manual.

What kind of stuff did the technician say that made him feel the tundra's would be unreliable? Just curious

Sorry for confusion, my comment refers to more than a few threads with complaints about service techs inability to adequately trouble shoot issues.

Agree with him 100%, certainly the issue is well above his pay grade.
