When I went 35’s I did intake, exhaust and bully dog, never felt different to me, even more giddy if anything. I can feel a slight lag now with 37x13.50 18, but 5.29 with lockers go in next week

Sorry to thread jack, in all seriousness great info here OP!

I think the biggest issue with the 2014 Tundra and up, is the throttle response being neutered. The 2nd Gen (07 to 13) had full throttle response even when not in tow/haul mode. Now once I switched my 2014 into "tow" mode, and the throttle response was allowed full range, it felt like it had plenty of power (minus hitting very minor hills on the freeway at 70 mph causing a instant downshift from 6th to 4th gear). It was just irritating having to put it into tow mode everytime. My buddy had 35s on his 2010 and it felt perfectly fine with stock gears (minus downshifts on minor hills). Did the bully dog address the throttle issue by any chance?

Incredibly! I’ve seen mixed reviews of BD, but plenty of good ones and my buddy had one on his 2nd gen with 37’s and swore by it so I gave it a shot. No regrets. My dad has a stock 19, mine is a 17, and I told him to get on it after bd/intake/exhaust/35’s at time, he said it felt like it wanted to jump off the ground compared to his. Read great things about DAP as well.

I have 295/65r20 ridge grapplers and definitely feel sluggish. Tow/Haul Ass mode helps a little but I think I am going to regear. Once I regear I’ll pribably want to get a SC :)

I recommend trying bullydog or dap tune first. But that’s just me. If I wasn’t adding lockers I wouldn’t be regearing.
