    Hi All,

I just bought my first Tundra after dreaming for years. 14 Crew Max...I read that the fuel tank is supposed to be 26.4 gallons. Filled it up for the first time today. Gauge was close to empty and it said I had 20 miles until empty. Only took a big over 18 gallons. Am I missing something? Is the tank really that small?

    Thanks in advance!

It is 26 gallons but the light comes on before it’s empty to keep the fuel pump cool and ppl won’t run it all out

Thanks. The Fuel Light hadn't come on yet, but it said 20 miles until empty. So I had at least 6-8 gallons left?
