Hey friends. Just sold my 2012 Toyota Tundra rock warrior on Saturday. And picked myself up a 2019 tundra trd pro. Does anyone know if the 305/65r18 in either Nitto Ridge Grappler or BFg ko2s have any rubbing or fitment issues. Can’t really find info for the new pro suspension. Thanks in advance

Welcome from San Diego. As far as I know, the new Fox set-up is basically the same as the Bilstein set-up as far as clearance goes. Maybe look for info on that set-up with the prior Pros?

305/65 needs at least an 8.5” rim, the stock rim is 18x8, so that won’t work

Would you say you need the shackles in the back to make those tires work?

I run these on 18x9 methods w a +25 offset and needed to trim a little in the wells both in front and behind the tires.

Not sure what wheels you are planning to use but I linked a vid of a guy clearing the stock uca with stock rims

Considering this setup. Does it ride better with the shackles or do you just like the extra rake?

Yes it rides better with shackles and forward rake keeps it from bulldogging when you put something in the bed. in addition helps traction control according to Dave

Frestl06 what did you decide? I have the same question. 2019 TRD PRO with no mods and don’t want any for now except bigger tires, looking at the BFG KOs also in 305 65 18. I’ve read where they do not rub on the 2017s but can’t find anything on a 2019 .

They are the same truck. The Fox branded shocks will not cause clearance issues.

295/70r18 is the biggest you can fit without rubbing. You will have to remove the front mud flaps.

305/65r18 is the tire ran on my Pro no rubbing at all. It was a good fit for the truck!

305/65 is quite a bit shorter despite being 10mm wider

That's what I have also. But clearance between the rubber and UCA is definitely less than 1 inch. I could barely stick my hands in between. But this is perfect for me. I never worry about it. And I'm keeping everything stock for now.
