    2014 double cab TRD off road
    I picked up a set of hellwig helper springs last night and they are getting installed today, I had a set of helper springs on my 07 regular cab and with the weight of my horse trailer it sat very nice any level. I had the horse trailer hooked up to the new truck the other day and it sagged a little more than I like ( I should have taken a pic for before and after ) but I will let you guys know how it goes

    Highly disappointed, the mechanic here at the dealership was going to put my HELLWIG HELPER SPRINGS on for me today and found that the factory U bolts are to short to add the leaf spring which the installation direction clearly say to use. So I called hellwig products and was told that they have had issues with the toyota's U bolts not being long enough and he is going to send me new U bolts and hardware to make this kit fit my truck, that is great but it dosnt help me with the trip I am taking with my horse trailer to Kentucky Friday morning.

    Bummer deal. I have a set of longer ones from my tacoma lift. Prob won't fit the tundra though. Should be able to find a set around $40 at an offroad or suspension shop. Have Hellwig just reimburse you for new ones instead.

    Hellwig has a complete kit with 2 springs per side #1909. It comes with new Ubolts and center bolts. It adds 2500lbs to the suspension well not affecting handling or ride height. I was going to order one but i need to raise my hitch height 2 inches to match my trailer height.
