I picked up new truck yesterday, signed up and introduced myself and began researching my to-do list. Is Sparks Parts the Sparks Toyota that is 15 miles away from me in Myrtle Beach SC?!?! The dealer is always in?? That would be great on many levels... I can pickup instead of ship, talk in person but mainly I could go pay cash and not have to listen to my wife raise hell about me blowing money on accessories when she sees debit card!

Your wife doesn't get suspicious of cash withdrawals?

    Interesting....

Keep in mind the online parts department is separate from the dealer parts department.

I have always believed that most divorce has financial origins; i.e. scarcity of funds combined with hiding assets and excessive unilateral spending from your partner's perspective. :D

No cash withdrawals, a little mileage reimbursement check here and there and other misc items that aren’t direct deposited. My wife is a CPA and the Controller for a company and has handled all our accounts for 20+ years, I haven’t seen a paycheck since direct deposit started 19 years ago and haven’t a clue how to even look at an account. I just have my small stash of cash I accumulated and use for golf wagers, poker nights, tonneau cover, etc. She knows it’s there and doesn’t care. All is good in the household.

CPA and Controller, huh? That's kinda good news and bad news. Well, if you're good at poker and sports wagers, I can see how you might be able to afford your Tundra parts habit.
