First pull with my Tundra today, 6k camper. She did very well, I actually like the way it drove BETTER when towing, seemed to firm up steering input (front end is a bit twitchy for me on these trucks).
How did it compare to my 2016 GMC 5.3 4x4 8speed witb 3.42s?....
No contest, the 32v 5.7 w/4.30s stomped the GMC ... that 5.3 would downshift to 4k and barely pull when hooked up. If I made the Yota downshift, it would actually do something.
Towing MPG - GMC in 10s, Tundra in the 10s.
Pic for attention, prizes given for viewers who correctly identify with specifics, the ultra rare car without GOOGLE's help.

Looks like a Ford Sierra cosworth with that wing, but the rear lights are different... Someone will get it...

Just stopped by to say congrats on the tow!

Give you a hint, less than 300 were produced. It was in a movie with Jay Leno and Mr. Myiaji back in the 80s.

    I think it's a Enterra.
If it is it was built off of the Pontiac Fiero.

Tundra does well pulling, I get the same 10.3 pulling my travel trailer but mine is only 3k. But I guess weight doesn't matter once your on the highway pulling a brick through the wind.

What's crazy is I just watched tfl and they got 8.7 with the new ram dually Cummins pulling a 50ft 29k lb trailer, that's impressive.

My GMC didnt have a factory brake controller, had a P3 in it....swapped it into the Tundra. Works great.
The car IS based on a Pontiac Firebird...

I think you are correct. I didn't notice the license plate location.
